Brad Black likes the movies. He goes every weekend with his girlfriend, Gina. They are happy, but they have no money. Then Brad has an idea and thinks that real life can be just like the movie - and that’s when things go wrong.(Quotation from the back cover)

This is a love story. Love is what sometimes go wrong, and this story is just the one of the cases.

A dead girl is found in a swimming pool in Pine Crest, USA. She's Janine, a 23-year-old student who wanted to write for a newspaper. Detective Flick Laine has to find the killer. But first she must find out the big story Janine was working on before her death.(quation from the backcover of this book)

I chose this book with recommendation from my friends. The story is about a detective who lost her buddy because of a murder. She wants to track the killer but she cannot due to her boss's order. So she is given the other investigation of a murder. Please read the story and find out the killers if you have interest in it.

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes

Lorelei's gentlemen friends buy her diamonds and take her to expensive restaurants. Lorelei has a lot of gentlmen friends, and her gentlemen friends have a lot of money. Now Mr. Eisman wants to educate Loreiei, and take her to Europe. Lorelei thinks this is a very very good idea. (quation from a back cover)

Today, I chose this book with the reason which webquest showed me a suitable level for me and this book is much to the level. So, it is sometimes easy and sometimes difficult for me. The story is boring because it is too simple and the heroine in the book is vicious. I could not amuse myself by reading it.

Within High Fences

'There was nothing different about that night. It was the same as every other night, I thought. But that night, my life started to change. I didn't know it then, but I know it now.'
It's the night when Nancy meets George. But it isn't easy for them to be together. There's Nancy job and her boy friend. And will George have to return to his own country? (Quation )

This is a not simple love story, but a complicated. Nancy and George are a couple. They live together, but Nancy begin to doubt their love. Nancy work at a center of asylim seekers(亡命者). One day, Nancy met a man who is one of the asylim seekers there. She did not like him at first, but it gradually changed her mind to him and the other asylim seekers through talking with him. And it is also changing her feeling to the man not as an asylim seeker but as 'a man.'
It is really interesting story, so I want to recommend you to try it.
