A Little Princess

Sara is a very rich little girl. She first comes to England when she is seven, and her father takes her to Miss Minchin's school in London. Then he goes back to his work in India. Sara is very sad at first, but she soon makes friends at school.
But on her eleventh birthday, something terrible happens, and now Sara has no family, no home, and not a penny in the world... (quotation from a back cover)

While I was reading the story, I guessed it was like an anti Cinderella story at first, but it is not in the end. she is a good girl from the begining to the end of the story though she loses all things she had. In even a terrible situation, she continues to try to become a brave girl for her father. So, a little girl Sara is described with many negative words in the story like poor, cold and sad, but she do not give up keeping her dream.
I want to recommend you to read this book when you are dispirited. She may make you fine.

The Piano Man

A woman finds a man on a beach. He is very cold, his clothes are wet, and he cannot speak. The woman phones for help, and an ambulance comes and takes the man to hospital. In hospital they ask the man questions, but he does not answear. He still cannot speak - or does not want to speak.(on the back cover)

In this time, I chose this book because some of my friends recommended it on their blogs. However, I noticed the book is not same with the book which my friends recommended to me. I was disappointed with my mistake at first, but I was content with the story of The Piano Man, nevertheless.
The story of The Piano Man is a love story. A man is called 'a piano man' because he plays with a piano in an hospital, but he does not say anything. And also, a piano is one of the keys of the love story.
This story will make you warm. Please read it, if you are interested it.

Japan (factfiles)

What do you know about Japan? Japan is in East Asia, in the Pacific Ocean - most people know that.(p.1)

This book tells me how attractive Japan is. It introduces Japan to readers; what  have changed and not changed from past, japanese food, Japanese personality, their environment, their history, and more. I met the things about Japan that I had not known until read it, though I am Japanese. And also, I discovered the differences from the other countries. I could get the things which foreigners who are interested in Japan want to know, and which or how  I should tell the foreigners about. Therefore, I recommend reading it to all people regardless of being Japanese or not.
