The Surprise

  “When Aunt Elizabeth comes back from Greenland she has a very strange present for Roger and Helen - a big egg. One day when they are eating dinner the egg starts to open. And imagine their surprise when out peeps Dacty, a dinosaur from long ago. What do the children do with their pet? And how does Dacty become a star?”  (quotation from the back of the book)

   This is the story about Phillip family, a father, a mother, their children, Roger and Helen, and their aunt, Elizabeth. One day, Aunt Elizabeth came to Phillip family’s house with some presents. The one of her present for the children was a pterodactyl’ egg. The children was very happy, and they raised him carefully. But, Dacty grew up so fast that he hurts himself unintentionally. So, Aunt Elizabeth decided to bring Dacty to her museum only at night. In the museum, it happens what Dacty becomes a star.
